About Me
TO PURCHASE SAM'S NEW ALBUM 'SATURDAY NIGHT' PLEASE EMAIL SAMCROSSOVER@AOL.COM. PRESS RELEASE: Sam Millar has returned from Nashville Tennessee, where he has recorded an album featuring eleven of his own self penned songs, plus a cover of 'I Can See Clearly Now' that has been begging to be re-recorded, with a new feel. The album is called 'Saturday Night' and will now be released in May on the new CMR Hot Label, a division of Django Promotions and a network of radio stations. 'Thank You Very Much' was released a few months ago as a promotional single to the industry, and picked up many plays around the world and charted in the top 20 of no less than 3 Indie Charts. Although the album was recorded in Nashville, Sam got the music direction he was looking for. With their top musicians and singers, it is not a stereotypical Country Music album. All the tracks have a POP/MOR feel with an emphasis on good fun and emotions that come with a Saturday night. Sam Millar enjoyed his return to Nashville for his second album, but went there this time with a handful of his songs that relate to today without getting caught up in any specific genre. Sam had great success from his previous album '9 Hours 2 Nashville' with many TV appearances, and tracks being used on 4 EMI Compilation albums. His music has progressed from this album and the results are on 'Saturday Night'. Sam lives in Essex in the UK with his family and looking forward to the next stage of his career.
