Music
Corporate Radio Sucks...and they always will as long as they continue to play music as determined by who's the prettiest or who looks the best from behind in bluejeans. I prefer my country more to the traditional side-i.e. lots of fiddle, steel guitar, banjo, mandolin...yes, the kind that makes you want to cry in your beer. I happen to like salty beer! My favorite artists are all songwriters...Merle Haggard, Anthony Smith, Jefferey Steele, Billy Montana, Rivers Rutherford, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Catherine Britt (and many more). Many of these artists have had hits on corporate radio but nothing compares to hearing them sing their own songs. Current example would be "Kristofferson" written by Anthony Smith and recorded by Tim McGraw. McGraw's version is very good but, when Anthony Smith sings it, the cut will rip your heart out.
Movies
Movies??? Who can afford $12.00 tickets and overpriced snacks, especially with other people running their mouths all the time. I'll stick with the movie of the week on television.
