  • Inspiration
    TIMBERWOLF was formed in September 2003. It was the spin-off of a trio I {Joe Weidner} had here in southern New Mexico {Tularosa Basin area} called LAST CALL, which was primarily a cover danceband. After several changes in the member lineup, I got my old friend "Al C." when he returned to the area from Washington state where he had been touring with a modern rock band called "Bush Pilot". And then due to conflicts with day jobs, both our drummer and other lead guitarist had to bail out. So that is when Al and I reformed the band, and Al renamed it "TIMBERWOLF", which was the name we have played under ever since. We play both covers and originals in our shows. Our influences are "many" but a few of the top of my head are Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker, Alan Jackson, and many more... {Please click on our "myspace" link and watch our "new" youtube video.}

Rising stars in the southern New Mexico desert, TIMBERWOLF is a "variety" danceband, playing popular covers and originals spaning five decades of music! - Since the band's beginning in 2003 they have built an ever-expanding repertoire of music for your dancing and listening enjoyment. - Collectively, they perform with alot of heart, soul, precision, and intensity! All members are adults and most have a stage experience of 15-30 years. - They strive for musical perfection and balance in their vocal harmonies. - Regardless of the performance, be it a charity function or a paid venue, they always give it their all! - TIMBERWOLF is known for being a "crowd-pleaser"! - They know how to read a crowd and keep them entertained, and are able to honor most requests. - Individually they all love music and love to entertain, and hope you will love them too! - Don't miss a chance to see and hear them perform live on stage!
