Fri. July 04, 2008 I Remember Last July 4th Celebrating with all of my family there camping in the Mountains. That was the last time all our family was together before my son was being deployed to active duty. I never realized how hard it would be to have a loved one so far away from home and knowing he is in harms way everyday. The worry you feel when you don't hear from them for weeks at a time.
Just how much I would miss him not being here. I am grateful that we were able to spend that weekend together as a family before he had to leave.
But this year is much different as we spend the holiday without him.
Please take a moment and Pray for all our soldiers to come home safe and be grateful for everything these heroes do for us.

Please be safe out on the roads and don't drink and drive.....

Pray For Our Soldiers

As you celebrate this Independence day
please think about our soldiers fighting far away
As you have your barbecue outside by the pool
They are in the desert with no way to keep cool

America is free today because there were those who believed
Who laid their lives on the line so our Country could be free
These are our children there, they are husbands they are wives
Who are fighting for our country while fighting for their lives

Please take a moment to think about all our brave heroes
Pray for their safe return to their loved ones back at home
Thank them for their service and their sense of loyalty
Every American who has fought for our country

Freedom has a price it does not come free
So we can feel safe at night while we slumber deep
Show them that we care that we are grateful for them too
for fighting for our country and everything they do
