biography
In 2005, Lauri’s husband Steve decided it was time for Lauri to follow her dreams. They sold their home in New England and moved to Nashville. She quickly made her way into the songwriting circles and captured the hearts of many with her powerful voice. Her voice is unique and the lyrics to her songs send a message to her audience. Lauri is here to stay. She has been described as being able to rock you like Janice Joplin and croon you Patsy Cline. Lauri does anything but disappoint.
Realm Records International has recently signed Laur and her debut CD will have about twelve tracks, three songs of which she is proud to say were co-written with her husband. Her music is being well received in many of the countries that her book has circulated, such as Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Great Britain and Austrial. Her CD is expected to be released in the early part of the summer of 2007 but check her out on her myspace - www.myspace.com/simplylauri .
