Inspiration The absolute love of music drives me to do most of the things that I do. My band is also driven by the same motivation. My keyboard player, which is also my mom, started writing music and she would get me to sing them for her. We used to go to this neat place called Redings Mill Inn for a songwriters night that was hosted by Rich McCready and long story short, mom and I were having so much fun that we started this band. My biggest influence has been my grandfather Max Brown who has been a career musician for 56 years and is still performing. Pat Stuart who is a marvelous rhythm guitar player is also a life-long musician and inspiration to me. More recently is Cal Denison. He is not only my friend, but an unbelievably talented, life-long musician, not to mention his skill at recording, writing, and producing. The songs on my page were recorded and produced by Cal and "I Don't Wanna Be Free" was written by Cal. It is my intention to make music my career and take it as far as it will let me go, but if I don't make it to the top, I will still consider myself to be one of the luckiest people alive to have known the wonderful people I have met along the way. For me, inspiration is the people that surround you. My band consists of Lynn Seaton, my drummer. Lynn is one of the most dedicated people I've ever had the pleasure to know and call my friend, not to mention his skill with the drums. Steve Rose, my bass player. Steve can literally play anywhere with anyone, any style of music and do it on a professional level. I'm so proud to have Steve in my band. Cheryl Brown is our backup vocalist. Cheryl is so dedicated and loyal to the group and her vocals are so rich. Our sound would not be the same without her. Deborah Dunn is my keyboard player (also my mom). She is our glue and I don't know how she does what she does, but I'm thankful for her. I am truly blessed by each and everyone of these people, by my church family, my family and my friends and if that's not inspiration, then I don't know what it is.
For Fans Of I never know how to answer when I'm asked "Who do you sound like?" Sarah Dunn and Sundown not only has phenominal musicians, we are vocally top heavy with some rich harmonies. I can honestly say that we don't sound like anyone other than ourselves. If you like bands with great vocals and rich harmonies, then you will like us.
Record Label We are not signed.

Sarah Dunn and Sundown was born in 2005. After some initial growing pains, we have evolved into the sound we have now. Sarah is 19 and the rest of the band is 29 until further notice. The band motto is "...it's all about the music." No truer statement could be declared. Each member of this band is serious about music, but we don't forget to have fun along the way.
