biography
I was born and raised in rural Lyles, Tn., just outside of Nashville. I remember countless nights that I drifted off to sleep listening to the peaceful sound of my mom and dad strumming their guitars in the living room. I started writing at a very early age, I wrote everything from poetry, to short stories, to plays. I loved to write. When I began college, I got my first guitar. From there it wasn't long until the two greatest loves of my life combined - writing and music. I've been writing songs ever since! Of course, not too long down the road another love entered my life... and we've been happily married for 3 years now. He has been very supportive of my music and in the last couple of years, I decided to "bite the bullet" as they say and chase my dreams. So here I am, still learning the business, and still learning guitar chords!! =0)
