This holiday season Tanya Tucker will perform some special concerts with members of her family and the Imperials, the Grammy-winning gospel/contemporary Christian group perhaps best known for their backup work for Elvis Presley.
"What a way to spend the Christmas season!" Tanya says. "Singing Holiday songs with Elvis Presley's backup vocal group.... I wish we could do this every year!"
Joe Guercio, Elvis' former orchestra leader, is producing the show and will conduct Tanya's band. The tour, entitled the Tanya Tucker Family Christmas, will also include her two daughters and her niece.
"What's Christmas without your family?" I couldn't think of a better way to do this tour than to involve my family," Tanya says. The Tanya Tucker Family Christmas will consist of four shows taking place December 12-21 in Kansas City, Mo.; Miami, Okla.; Vinton, La.; and Nashville.
