The wait for the new Sugarland album officially ends today with the release of Love On The Inside, though it’s just the first of two release dates for the project.

The version of the album that’s out today is the Deluxe Fan Edition, which features five bonus tracks, an expanded CD booklet and the ability to download related video material. Among the five extra cuts on the Deluxe version are two live performances plus three studio pieces.

The studio recordings didn’t fit "the holistic vision of what we wanted on the album proper, but we also didn’t want to get rid of ‘em," Jennifer Nettles told the national radio show GAC Nights: Live From Nashville. "We wanted to put those somewhere where people could hear ‘em, where we didn’t have to save them for some supposed possible other album in the future. We wanted to get it out there, and we also have video content. We recorded a lot of material from and documented from the actual studio experience, so you’ll get to see some of that."

If you miss the deluxe package this week, the standard version of Love On The Inside will be released next Tuesday. Sugarland is GAC’s Artist of the Month for July.
