Dolly Parton Applies "Shinola" to TV

Dolly Parton’s musical-theater version of "9 To 5" has been in previews in Los Angeles for much of the month, and she’s launching a promotional campaign for the show this weekend as it officially opens at the Ahmanson Theatre.
Dolly performs her new single, "Shinola," on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno Friday and again on Ellen Monday. A video for the single was shot during a recent performance at London’s O2 Arena. Click here to see the video. 9 To 5 is expected to hit Broadway next April.
In the meantime, Dolly plans another series of dates on her Backwoods Barbie Tour, beginning Oct. 17 in Boca Raton, Fla., and running through Nov. 18 in Green Bay.
