About Me
After a year break, Sophia Lynne has formed a new group. In her last conversation with her father, who passed in January of '06, she made a promise to continue her music career. She became more determined following a severe car accident in March of '06, teaching herself to play guitar while working through nerve problems.... She didn't give in to it. She came up with the name MoonfloweR in honor of her sister, Dianne, who passed suddenly in June '06. Sophia and Dianne being true night owls, have always loved the Moonflower and how it blooms every night and follows the light of the moon. Sophia met Chanin Edge after their sons introduced them in December '06. They quickly hit it off and began to pursue music in the Austin, Houston and Fredericksburg areas. Chanin adds the perfect "Edge" to the vocals and had been looking for someone to start a group or duo with in the Austin area, after taking a chance on her dreams and leaving her band, family and friends in Ridgecrest,CA, her hometown. Both could'nt believe they were only a couple of doors down from each other. Being veterans of the stage, Chanin and Sophia look forward to what lies ahead. The blend of their voices and watching how much they enjoy what they do makes for a funfilled evening. Keep your eyes and ears open for these two! They are headed your way soon!
