Been singing for country audiences since she was 8 years old. WWVA Jamboree Legend (and father) Roy Scott - took Lois on the road thru the 60's. In the 70/80/90's Lois had her own band (BACK UP AND PUSH) and traveled the East Coast of the United States and Canada.
Sang National Anthem for
Pittsburgh Steelers 2 years in a row (l982/83).
Won "YOU CAN BE A STAR"
Nashville Talent show (before Nashville Star) in l984. Became member of WWVA Jamboree in l985 thru l993 - where she opened up for the biggest starS in Nashville that came to WVA. (like Merle Haggard, Rick Nelson, Loretta Lynn, Steve
Warnier, The Oakridge Boys, Tammy Wynette, The Judds, Mel
Tillis, and the list goes on and on). Intersting note:
At WWVA Lois worked along side a handome, YOUNG guitar player/songwriter....He is now the hottest thang in Nashville and beyond....BRAD PAISLEY. Lois worked with
Brad for 2 years (he was l7 years old) at WWVA. Currently (07)released her solo CD, "YOUNG" - produced by her friend/producer/Nashville songwriter, DAVE HANNER. She
trying to "re-vamp" her career - and at 51 years old - there is no slowing this gal down. She loves to sing/entertain her audience - look out Country Music -
"she ain't done singin' yet". Favorite Quotes are: "Afterall...
tomorrow IS another day" AND "Talent has no age limit".
Appears in Pittsburgh - in TWO bands. Her own country band called, PLUM LOCO and sings backup vocals in classic rock band with Great Originals called, THE KNOBS.
