Inspiration My dad was my first inspiration. He was always singing around the house and playing guitar. Others include Dicky Betts, BB King, Larry Carlton, Carlos Santana, Al Dimeola, Jeff Beck, Hendrix, Robin Trower, Steve Howe, James Burton and a host of others. My main inspirations today come from the musicians I play with.
For Fans Of A lot of different music - jazz, fusion, prog, pop, rock, acoustic, blues, country. My first CD is entitled "Eclectic" because there are multiple musical genres in the songs. Special thanks to Don Black for laying down the bass track on Victim of the Night...

biography
I've been playing the guitar and singing for over 35 years. I've played in all types of bands. My first professional road gig was with an Elvis impersonator. My previous [garage] band played Rush, Boston, Yes, Sabbath, Hendrix, etc... Getting into a top 40 show band was quite a departure for me and an eye opener to other styles of music. Since those early days, I've played in blues, jazz, fusion, smooth jazz, southern rock, "classic" rock, metal, funk/soul, top 40 pop, dowop and country bands. I'm currently focused more on country music and specifically on that "chicken pickin" style of guitar. I plan to get some of this style into my writing pretty soon. I hope you like the current group of songs. The ones entitled "In the works" are just that - works in progress. I'll post the finished versions when they are available. Please leave me a comment - I would appreciate the feedback.
