Well hello there! I am Kristopher Lee (Kristopher Lee Lear), a Lyricist/Songwriter born and raised in West Michigan. I've been writing since I was a child and have always loved music. I have spent the last 10 years writing primarily country songs. Of course theres a little rock and a bit of alternative or contemporary but Country is the dominant genre. I have put together my own little project studio (pro tools digi 002, VI's, mic's etc.) and am in the process of learning how to record my original material...

Songs that I have posted, are all derived from my own original lyrics.... "Came Home To Tennessee" (written by Kristopher Lee & Cindy Anderson) Recieved an Honorable Mention in the VH1 Song of the Year songwriting competition Dec. 06.
I wrote "Came Home To Tennesse" while trout fishing on the white river in 2005. In 2006 I met Cindy Anderson who put the music to it and is singing the vocals on this track............

"Concrete Cowboy" is another Kristopher Lee original that was written as sort of an anthem of my life. I went to visit some friends in the city and they took me out for a night on the town and a couple of bouncers wouldn't let me through the door because I was wearing my cowboy hat. Needless to say, it is just a fun song about a country boy trying to get by in the city.......

"Best Of Men" came about, as I realized all the things I was doing in the name of love. I am far from perfect but I am a Damn Good Man......

In the real world I am a finance manager for an independant car dealership here in Muskegon. I am also a proud parent! My Daughter is 10mo old and she IS my EVERYTHING!!! She makes me laugh, smile and teaches me that there is more to life than work. I also spend alot of time outdoors. I am an avid bowhunter and trout fisherman and two weekends a month I can be found on remote streams soaking up the silence and serenity of Michigans wilderness.....

I have quite a colletion of lyrics/songs that I am trying to bring to life in the attempt of pitching these songs to publishers, producers and artists. With my big DREAM in life being to hear my songs on the radio (and of course cashing a royalty check). I am always looking for good people with the same goals and ambitions to collaborate with.
