About Me
Kevin Henderson is an artist and songwriter from the St.Louis, MO area. From as early as the age of 8, Kevin had a passion for music. His guitar became part of his soul. Kevin won a guitar solo contest with the Mid America Music Association (M.A.MA.) not one but 6 years in a row. While pursuing music education at Missouri Baptist University, he shared his talent by giving guitar lessons privately. Kevin played with some very talented musicians throughout the years. In the 1990's he recorded a self produced album with a Christian Rock Band named "Project 7" entitled "A matter of necessity". Kevin played with many bands in the Midwest from Rock & Roll to Blues and Country, but his heart always remained with Country music. Always up for a new challenge, being a lead guitarist was never enough. He truly believed there was more for him out there, so he was always willing to push harder and go a step further. Writing from his heart and soul, Kevin's next challenge is to record his projects and share them with the world. Kevin's quote: Hopefully "LORD" willing I will finish a cd project that has been long over-due! As my good friend Billy Reasons and I have discussed many times, “Life throws us many curves, but there is never a good reason to give up.” It is in my hopes and prayers that my project will reach its final approach. It will be entitled, This Cowboy’s Dream. With the love and support of my family, children and many "extended family" and friends; this dream will soon become reality.
