biography
My name is Jim Edwards and I am a Country Music Entertainer from Okmulgee, Oklahoma. I am a member of the Country Music Singers Association of Oklahoma and perform on their stage from time to time. I am also a member of the North America Country Music Association, International in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. I was voted as the "2004 & 2005 Entertainer of the Year" for the Northeast Chapter of the CMSA. I do festivals, reunions, birthdays, benefits, bars & ect. as well as performing for the Country Music Singers Association and Oklahoma Country Music Association. Plus, I am invited to perform at various Jubilees and Jamborees.
I work very hard when it comes to my music and look forward in performing more. I have played several types of music in my life from Country, Rock, Blues and Gospel, but prefer Country and Gospel music now, especially "Traditional Country". I love to perform and see people smiling and dancing and feeling good about themselves. I know that I have done a great job when people are up dancing and having a great time. Especially when they ask for a picture and/or a autograph.

May Daze in Blanchard, OK. Old-Time Threshing Bee, Fairview, OK. Watonga Cheese Festival, Watonga, OK. Coweta Fall Festilval, Coweta, Ok. Talala Spring Festival, Talala, OK. The Lily Pad, McAlester, OK. Bixby Community Center, Bixby, Okla. The Country & Western Hall of Fame, Del City, OK. The Trolley Town Music Hall, El Reno, OK. and the Oklahoma State Fair in Oklahoma City, OK. Nowata Country Jamboree, Nowata, Okla. Country Tonite Theatre Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, among other places. Other places that I have had to opportunity to perform at; Maysville, OK. The Roxy Theatre in Muskogee, OK, Real Country Opry in Kingston, Tx., Burger Day Festival in El Reno, OK. Piedmont Pie Festival, Piedmont, OK. In 2006 I had the pleasure of opening up for Jamey Johnson and in 2007 opened up for Jason Meadows at the Cookson Jubilee in Cookson, Oklahoma. Man was that a blast. Especially with Jason, I even tried to get Jason to join me in a couple of songs, but he declined. Maybe next time!
