Inspiration I have always wanted to be a country music artist from the first time I heard Garth Brooks first song on the radio. "Not Counting You". I wore out his first debut album/cassette until it couldn't play anymore. That inspired me to start singing in bars instead of just the truck and shower. Ha ha! I love the response I get in a new bar or honky tonk and enjoy making my mother and family proud.
For Fans Of Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Montgomery Gentry, Craig Morgan, Alan Jackson and Rascal Flatts.

biography
Don Martin is an aspiring country/rock music artist originally from western Iowa farm country looking to get his voice heard. Don has spent his past 10 years in sales and business along with doing what he can in music while raising his children and providing for them. He has recently moved his family to Oxford, MS where he currently owns two cellular phone stores and has finished a demo in Nashville and is shopping independent and major labels. Don is new to the digitalrodeo.com world and got a chance to find out about it at Cadillac Ranch in Nashville and is excited to get his rich country voice out there and build a good fan base. He is best singing a heartfelt country balad and has been inspired by artist such as Garth Brooks, and Brad Paisley whom he met right when Brad got signed by Arista in 1997. Don is also inspired by the great Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw and not to forget the 80's rock bands, Night Ranger, Journey, Boston, KISS, Def Leppard, Foreigner, and Bon Jovi. Don also played semi-pro football in the NAFL for the Nebraska Bears for two years. Don has been married for 18 years and has three children that are currently all teenagers. His daughters Brittani and Kaylie are excellent vocalists as well. And his son Dallas is bound to be a great actor someday. Don recently moved his entire family from western Iowa to northern Mississippi this last January to open two of his own cellular stores and wanted to get closer to Nashville to pursue his music career dreams. If you are a country/rock listener take a listen to his songs and spread the word. The producer on this project is George McClure in Nashville and all of these songs were hand picked by Don and his family from great song writers in Nashville. Sheryl Blackman wrote his two favorites "Can't You Change your Mind" and "Forgiveness".
