about me
I went to college on a vocal scholarship majoring in music. I eventually changed my major to Journalism: Public Relations. My senior year we had a choice of internships and I thought being involved in radio would be a fun, everchanging, exciting place to work and still be able to be involved in music. I got an internship with a local radio station and it changed my life. After I graduated I was hired as a part-time worker and began doing an over-night shift on
one of the stations. Soon after I was hired after a DJ left for another job and I was asked if I would like to be a full time jock for their country station and to also be the Promotions Director for all the stations. I jumped at the chance and immediatly fell in love with radio. Later alot of jobs were cut including mine. I was definatly discouraged, but kept looking for a job in radio and that's how I ended up where I am today. I absolutely love radio and country music!! I love meeting and talking to my listeners, going to events, being involved in the community, and helping people grow their business just by saying a few words of sincerity. One of my goals is to be a radio jock in NASHVILLE...and I won't stop until I get there! :)
I'm country as country can be...just don't call me a redneck. I love hunting and fishing. I have my own little john boat that my dad and I did ourselves and I love it. I love taking my friends fishing in the summer! But you're not allowed to go if you can't bait your own hook and take your own fish off the hook...haha. Don't ever challenge me in target shooting...you'll lose. I also love rodeo. My brother was a bull-rider and I love going to events, I'd love to announce and run sound for events on the side eventually. I'm a girly girl...and a tom boy. I loove meeting new people and making people laugh. If there's anything you want to know...just ask...I'm pretty much an open book. :)

Quotes
Stewie (after tripping Peter): "Ha ha ha, oh my God! I almost didn't do it, I almost didn't do it! I thought, is this in bad taste? But you know what, I went for it. I went for it and I'm so glad I did! Ooooh, worth it, totally worth it."

Nothings impossible I have found
For when my chin is on the ground
I pick myself up, dust myself off, start all over again
Don't lose your confidence if you slip
Be grateful for a pleasant trip
And pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again
Work like a soul inspired till the battle of the day is won
You may be sick and tired but you'll be a man my son
Don't you remember the famous man who had to fall to rise again?
They picked themselves up, dust themselves off and started all over again
