Influences
My Mom and Dad have been the biggest influences in my life. They raised me to the person I am today and our family has been through so much and we made it through all of it with God's help. My Mom inspired me to sing and helped me to sing when I was just a young girl. Been singing ever since, its a passion!!
I want to dedicate the song " "Til Death Do Us Part" ( written by: Diane Richardson and Steven Hudis:) to my Mom and Dad. My Mom was diagnosed with Lymphomia Cancer about 17 years ago and was only given 2 months to live, today she is a living example that with God, "all things are possible" and in memory of my Dad who lost his battle with lung cancer January 10, 2006. My Dad was by my Mom's side through her whole cancer battle and he took care of his girls the best he could when he was always used to her doing that , so was my Mom there for my Dad as well with his battle. I have the best parents in the whole world!! I Love you Mom! (and Dad, Someday I will see you in heaven, can't wait to see you again, Love you and miss you lots!!!!

Brenda’s singing career began tweny-five years ago. She sang in her hometown church whenever she was given the opportunity. It was then, she realized this was her hearts desire to share her God given talent with the world, which also led to performing in local and state fairs, weddings, events of all kinds and singing the National Anthem for minor league baseball games.
In 1986, she received the talent award for the Miss T.E.E.N. Pageant. More recently, she participated in and won numerous vocal contests locally and have sung with various gospel groups and bands in and around her hometown.
In August 2006, Brenda was selected to perform in the "Nashville Music Network Showcase", held at "The Gibson" in Nashville, TN .
November 2006 she was selected to participate in the "USA World Showcase" in Las Vegas, Nevada, held at the "MGM Grand Hotel" and placed First Female Vocalist in that division. She was aired on PAX TV.
May 2007, Brenda had the opportunity to sing the National Anthem for the WNBA at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC.
In July 2007, Brenda auditioned for the "Colgate Country Showdown" and was selected as one of the twelve (out of 60 auditions) to participate. She placed 4th.
Currently, Brenda is working on a CD Project. She hopes to start recording 2008/2009.

My sweet sister, my mother has a new idea for me to raise my grade up in that biology class. She wanted me to at least ask my biology tutor to come over at my house one day and study the final exam with me for hours, and we will be glad to pay him money. I really have a 64% in that class, which is a "D" and any grade lower than a 60 is failing. I'm asking you to really pray for me for the next few weeks. My last lab practical exam is on Monday, December 8th and then my FINAL EXAM is Wednesday, December 10th. I desperately want to have a good score on those two exams, especially the final. Thank you so much for your prayers for the next few weeks. I deeply love you so very much and God bless you. I am sending this same message to over 45 of my friends on here.
My sister from Baltimore, and her daughter and family from Lewistown are coming for Thanksgiving and I'm looking forward to it again. Hope your Thanksgiving is good as well. All my best,so glad we connected again. Luv ya, Kate
