Inspiration Great songwriters who are not afraid to share their talents with others......Help others..do what you can.
The ones who stuck with their dreams no matter how many times they heard no..
Turn Offs....Publishers and music companies who are out there to take advantage of new artists. They charge money to writers promising top quality demos and then don't follow through. They will put music to any lyrics for money...( I think they are termed SONG SHARKS>>>>>) I'm not saying all of them are bad..There are great publishers out there..I think we just need to be careful and check references before we sign anything.

I am a singer,songwriter& a Lyric writer
I spent 3 years In Nashville working on my music career from 1998 to 2001..During that time I ran a Non -profit music group for music artists, wrote magazine articles for a European Music magazine and also for my group Hottopicsmusicnews@yahoogroups.com & wrote bio stories for artists.
I had the rare oppurtunity to interview and write articles for Garth Brooks, Steve Wariner, David Ball, Earnie Ashworth, Jim Lauderdale and Many others as well, while spending time backstage at the Grand OIe Opry.
I have worked with several co-writers and am very happy with the songs we have written together.
Greg Austin co-wrote Move A Mountain & Stuck with your last name with me. Move A Mountian came in the top 3 for 2003 Battle of the bands and Greg Austin opened the show at the Wild Horse Saloon for Montgomery Gentry with this song.
He also made it to the top 20 on Nashville Star in 2005 using this song as his audition song & has had National Airplay.
Randall Johns just co-wrote American Soldier on the Line which is currently on the projectOCOL site

This song is special to me because it is my son's story who is currently overseas in the army...we pray & we worry about him everyday...
Carmella Inchierchiera my sister co-writer whom I met on DR ....you are the best. you will see many of my songs are co-written with her.
And now we get to add Allson Janisse and Catjam records and Publishing to the family.
Allison is set to release Everyday I'm Hangin On written by Me and both Randall Johns and carmella in Sept. She is donating money from every song that sells to raise funds for Project Ocol. though Our Soldiers and family Releif Fund.
We pray for all the soldiers & their families (Those families & friends who feel the same worry I do over the ones we love every single day)
I don't think any words can describe how it feels, so all I can do is try to get that message across in my writing the best way I can.
I am a national poetry winner for 2003 & 2004
I was given an honorable mention in Nov 2007 for Move a Mountain & Dec 2007 for lyric only for Running From Your Demons in the song of the year contest.
I have a wonderful man in my life Sean who supports me 100% in my music and a very special friend Randy who has helped my son and our family more than I could ever say. His support in my music career means a lot to me.
I have 3 wonderful kids all grown up now who give me a lot of material to write about and 10 grandkids.
I am an OTR driver for Interstate Transport running team with my husband and have a complete studio in my truck.

I do this because I love music...I love writing and seeing my words come to life in a song. If I ever get a hit song then great..but that's not why I do it.
God gave me a gift....I want to share it with others.
