Allow me to introduce the band:
Wade Burleson – songwriter, rhythm guitar, and lead vocalist
Michael Matthis – lead guitar, keyboards, and backup vocalist
Melvis Pouch – drummer
Brandon Bow – bassist
Bio: Wade Burleson came from a family of musicians and songwriters including his father. He started playing guitar and writing songs when he was in the 6th grade. He had his first live performance at his 8th grade Spring Concert. By the time Wade was in 10th grade, he had joined a local band and was performing live in local drinking establishments (his mother had to attend because of his age). Wade had performed in front of crowds as large as 6,000 before he was 20.
Wade always continued to work on his songwriting and performing in bands through the years. He wrote many songs about life, love, hard times, and having fun along the way.
In 2006, Wade Burleson met Michael Matthis through a mutual friend and soon they started to put together a studio and laying down tracks. Together that year, Wade and Michael completed a demo cd with five of Wade’s original songs, but these two were not finished working. Wade has many more new songs with plans on producing more albums in the future.
In 2007, Wade and Michael decided to put together a full length cd. After the completion of the cd, they decided that they needed more members in their band in order to perform live shows. In January 2008, Wade and Michael added Dan Corley, drummer and Brandon Bow, bassist and “PRESTO,” The Wade Burleson Band began. In July 2008 Dan Corley was replaced with a very talented drummer from the Austin Texas music circuit, Melvis Pouch. Melvis brings a large reputable resume with his many years of experience.
The Wade Burleson Band is a high energy band that loves to involve the crowd and show them a good time. If you want to hear some good music, and see some lively and fun entertainment, then contact Wade for a show. They will bring a show that promises “Satisfaction Guaranteed!”
