Maryland native Greg Friia was always convinced he was living on the wrong
coast. And he was right... sort of. What he thought was Los Angeles
calling, turned out to be somewhere in the middle... Nashville, Tennessee!
Greg's passion and rich talent for songwriting led him there in late 2001
and he hasn't looked back. "It was a night at the Bluebird Café' with
D. Vincent Williams that put everything in perspective for me. I knew I had
to be here", says Greg, and he has taken advantage of every moment since.
Greg considers himself honored to have written with accomplished songsters
like Dave Berg and Lisa Carver in addition to his core of up and coming
contemporaries. Both the Lo-Cash Cowboys, and Beth Cayhall have featured
Greg's songs on independent albums and you can hear him live both at Edgehill
Studios Café and The Listening Room where he host's a monthly writers night.
