I am a perfect example of how dreams do come true if you work hard enough and in my case find some great co-writers.
Our song "Everyday I'm Hangin 'on "recorded by Allison Janisse (Catjan records) just hit #1 on the Indie charts as of Sept. 30th

Through meeting some very talented musicians here on DR I have been able to improve my songwriting skills and go in directions I didn't realize I could go. I have also learned a lot by working with these awesome talented people.
You will see a lot of my songs are co-written by Carmella Inchierchiera (lyricsinmyhead)who is my brilliant writing partner. Together we have several new songs we wrote this year since we met right here on DR.
There are several co-writers but Randall johns (rjsongwriter) is another writer who has really helped me and we have two songs together. Everyday I'm Hangin' On also co-written with carmella and American Soldier On The Line
Bob Caruana, Joe Weidner, (timberwolf), Dusty lynn, William Ray Holden, Allison Janisse (who has such an amazing talent and a bigger heart), George Crom, Rex, Greg Austin, ( who co-wrote Move a Mountain And Stuck With Your Last name) and so many more I am forgetting to mention.....
Now I am working with Catjan Records & Publishing Inc. They have now picked up some more of my songs to be released for next year.
This year has been a great year for me in music. After taking a 7 year break, I then decided to get back into writing, I just started back into it In Jan 2008. Since then, I have made amazing progress and feel very blessed.
It's great to have a #1 song on the charts but for me, songwriting is not about the money. God gave me a gift for words....It would be a shame not to share this with the world.
My goal is to help other writers find their own dreams as well as to offer support and encouragement where I can. I believe that by giving to others, it always comes back to us. This is why we are here.
Wondering about the Garth Brooks pic? Well it was taken in 1999 when I was lucky enough to have him sit down and do an interview with me for my music group. The article was then published in Southern country Music Magazine. (an entire different story in my life)
I am a OTR driver for Interstate Dist. driving Team with my husband, and for the most part these songs have been written in the sleeper berth of my truck and put together via phone and internet. ( I have never met my co-writers..the magic of the Internet)
A special thanks to TJ Flaton (who has been an amazing supporter of my music and of project Ocol as well as support to Allison Janisse), Randy Hadley (who has beleived in me from day one), Sean Stout (my Husband who pushed me to start using my talent), Kat from Ocol, the entire Janisse family, Carmella (my sister at heart if not by blood), Nelson Blanchard (our demo producer and singer who takes our horrible demos and makes them into beautiful songs for us)), Randall Johns & to all of you who keep supporting me in my music.
Also a big thank you to all our non music fans who have been so supportive with our music.
Please leave me a comment and tell me what you think of my music.
And please join our cause in helping our soldiers.
