Jesse Wilson was born in California and raised in the heart of Memphis, TN. He had many influences such as Roy Orbinson, The Beatles and none other than the king, Elvis Presley. Jesse began developing his own unique writing and playing style in a variety of clubs and honky-tonks on Beale Street and Overton circuit in and around Memphis.
Jesse was signed to Rosebud Records in the fall of '96. Jesse said the first time he ever attended Fan Fair in 1997 was, Unreal. Almost like a dream because he was there meeting and greeting his own fans. Jesse and songwriting partner Jerry Burek signed autographs for hours all four days at Fan Fair 2002. Jesse has been a regular at the Rosebud Booth at the Country Music Festival Fan Fair and Jesse says he can hardly wait for Fan Fair 2007.
Jesse has hosted several Rosebud Records Fan Fair Shows. Always to a packed house.
You can hear the red hot results of Jesse's hard work on Jesse Wilson's Love Won't Let Me Let You Go CD album available on Rosebud Records. Jesse's first single Love Won't Let Me Let You Go, was chosen to be the independent cut of the month on CDX, Volume 161, May 1997. Jesse's North American single Ring Around Rosie was featured as the independent artist of the month on Macountry, February 2002.
Jesse's Rosebud debut album Love Won't Let Me Let You Go scored rave reviews in North America as well as in Europe. Jesse Wilson has appeared on all five Rosebud Samplers. Jesse Wilson had one single Love Won't Let Me Let You Go on CDX Volume 161, May 1997, and five MACOUNTRY releases.
