About me:
Beka Bronk just finished recording her CD, “Cabin Fever,” at Curb studios in Nashville, TN. The Mukwonago, WI native wrote & produced all the songs. She then formed her band, the exciting Gin Hall Hustlers. These talented Nashville players put on a high-spirited and fun show, with a few nods to traditional country-thanks to their steel-pedal player & violinist.
Beka moved to Nashville in 2004, and was here just six months when she was hit by an impaired driver in a devastating car accident. Forced to move back home to recover, she wrote the songs that made up her new CD, the aptly titled "Cabin Fever." Upon returning to Nashville six months after the wreck, Beka threw herself into playing local venues and writer's nights, and recording her CD.
In October of 2008, Beka signed a non-exclusive licensing deal for the song "Trouble in Pants" with music agency Audiosocket. Also in October, her song, "Runner," already playing on WOS Radio/365 Live, was spotlighted on the Bree Noble show, and she was asked to record a commercial for the ratios station. Earlier that year, Beka was chosen to compete in the Nashville 2008 Music Masters Showcase, and won the Sonic Bids “Remix It!“ Contest to have a dance club remix of her country song, “Trouble In Pants” done by top club remixer Shawn Scott. Her songs are playing on www.wmvysradio.com, the world’s largest internet radio station, Radio Lyon, France, the Women of Substance radio show on www.365Live.com., Pongid Radio as one of their Top 20, 2nd Life Video Interactive Avatars, and the GAC network's "Next Big Star" Contest. She is picking up new fans on MySpace, Digital Rodeo, Facebook, Friends or Enemies, and Ourstage as well.
Beka was the opening act last year during Fan Fair Fair, for fans of Joe Nichols, Emerson Drive, and Gary Allen, playing the Paradise Trailer Park Resort & Tootsie's Orchid Lounge (both on the famous Broadway honk-tonk strip), the Nashville Palace, Bluebird, the Commodore, and The Nashville Songwriter's Festival.
Prior to that, Beka lived in California, where she was featured on the Vantage Records compilation (billed as "The California Cowgirl") singing the song "Lucky One Time;" was a finalist on Ryan Seacrest’s Star 98.7 “Be a Star” contest; received the 1 rating for her demo in Music Connection, an industry magazine; and played solo acoustic in clubs such as Genghis Cohen, The Gig, Coconut Teaser, Canter’s Kibbitz Room, NoHo's Blue Room, The Long Beach AMFAR Fundraiser, and the North Hollywood Arts & Music Festival, to name a few.
Beka Bronk & the Gin Hall Hustlers are bringing their exciting sound to lots of new fans!
