Born on October 5, 1979 in Paramount California, Justin Cruz was destined for a life of music. Some of Justin’s childhood memories included his father Ruben drumming in a band. Justin’s father was a professional drummer in a local band by night and by day he was a hard working miner. Justin’s mother Patty was a stay at home mom. Justin always enjoyed the fun life of music. He frequently attended karaoke nights at the local bars. After some persuasion from his brother and friends he decided to sing a song. He sang “Someone had to Teach You” by George Strait. He was astonished at the response he received. He saw people coming in from other areas of the bar just to see who was singing. People began to dance and sing along. From that time on Justin knew he had a special talent. Justin was fortunate to meet a man who believed in Justin’s talent and referred him to someone in Nashville Tennessee. After several months of hard work and time away from his newborn son and family, Justin was able to record an album in Nashville titled “Who I Am & Who I Aint”. Justin’s dreams were finally becoming a reality.
Best regards from Robbins & Wheeler.
