Coats for Kids 2008 appeal

Needy children across the USA will have a warmer winter if you help us help the Coats For Kids charity.
Just download "The Christmas Wish (A Coat To Wear)" from Digital Rodeo, ITunes, Napster or CD Freedom, and you'll be helping buy new coats for children from hard-up homes.
The song, sung by DR Country singer John D. Lewis and the 52 pupils of a tiny church school in Northern England, is set to become an annual standard, thanks to the big hearts and exceptional talent of those very special children.
"The Christmas Wish" was a smash hit last year reaching the top ten on the Independent Music Network Charts on Christmas Day. Proceeds from sales went to the school's funds.
This year, all proceeds from the song will go to the Coats For Kids Foundation™ which raises funds to buy new coats for needy children across the USA.
"The Christmas Wish (A Coat To Wear)" was written by John D. Lewis and Dawn Lewis, but it was long after Lewis had left the studio with the finished product that they realized it had a unique link to the Coats For Kids Foundation™ .
Part of the lyric - written by Dawn Lewis before she even knew the Coats For Kids Foundation™ existed - says:
"Friends to play with and enough to eat, a coat to wear and shoes on their feet."
J.D. said: "It's just the right song for the right cause, and all the children at Ingleton are hoping folks will buy the download and help raise money for children in the USA.
"Even the richest nation on earth has problems with poverty, and a warm coat is something no kid - nor any parent - should ever have to struggle for."
The song is available as a download from ITunes, Napster and CD Freedom. You can also buy a CD which includes the song at CD Freedom.
And of course, you can buy it direct through Digital Rodeo.
