PEOPLE SHOULD BE VERY THANKFUL FOR ALL THE OUTLAW ARTIST WHO REBELLED AGAINST NASHVILLE IN THE 70's........ If it was not for them we would not even know country music as we do today!

SUMMER~FALL 2008 NEW'S.....Well it's no secret that I have been behind in the music business lately as most of you know.. So much going on in life that it is taking me out of my regular flow and it's driving me crazy. (lol) I'll be back on the stage again soon and get you guy's some new tune's loaded on this site..I have some awesome new song's, but have been hesitant to record them solo with just me and the guitar or get some friend's over to spice up the tracks.... I have just added a new studio to the Missouri home so that will make life a little easier. I've had a great Summer, living so close to the Lake of the Ozark's here in Missouri make's the HOT day's a little more tolerable. My business in Home Improvements has proven successful so far here at the Lake. Incase some of you don't know I came to Missouri in the Winter of 2008 from Pennsylvania and now have two home's I'm paying for...(lol) so I can use the $CaSh$ and since it is my first year here I feel thing's are going well. My Mom and some brother's and sister's live here and have been trying to get me down to the lake forever with all the new construction going up, but I've been known to be hard headed from time to time. The country music demand is stronger here in the Midwest compared back East and I'm NOT the only one in a 50 mile radius wearing a cowboy hat..!!! That's Awesome even though I just wear my John Deere cap the majority of the time (lol).. Anyway you guy's please don't give up on me.. I will have some new music loaded soon and hopefully when thing's iron out I'll post some concert date's and once again get the ball moving.. Like I said, the first year in a new state just has me behind schedule, but not for long. As always, thank you for all your support and friendship! Keep the email's and comment's coming because I read them all.... Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Devin Claycomb has been musically inclined since a very young age and picked up his first guitar at 14. Learning to play was easy for him and he learned many of the cover songs and played tunes like Lynard Sknyard, Bob Seager and most all the country artist of the time. Although playing the tunes that he loved to hear he knew he could offer more by performing some of the songs that he had written through his life. Devin's songs reflect mostly on hard times, good times and love/loss that he himself has experienced. His first debut was on CBS The Early Show during a LIVE broadcast and from there his musical journey was in motion. He has competed Live on stage as well as in worldwide competitions, like FAMECAST the online version of American Idle /Nashville Star and was chosen from the TOP-100 artist worldwide and remained in the contest all the way to The Final-5 and won the opportunity to go to Austin, TX to perform LIVE in season one of the contest but failed to win. Never giving up so easily he decided to try it once again in Season-2 and in September of 2007 he won the contest and named the New Famecast Country Music Fenom. He has been featured at "New Country Star.com" as one of the Top-3 male vocalist in JULY/2007 also he made Northern PA's WDDH FM 97.5 (The Hound) radio's Entertainer Of The Week twice in two months, which interviewed Devin as well as played his music solo CD on the air. In Jan-2007 his first Music Video "Building Bridges was completed and in March-2007, he finished his “Where Do We Go From Here” music video and both have received worldwide attention. Also he recorded a successful Solo CD called (Alone & Unplugged) which for the most part was recorded in his own recording studio. Devin enjoys his life and has much respect for his wife Holly and the many influences that have helped him reach his goals as a independent singer/songwriter and performer of his own style of country music. Devin has also been blessed by making countless friends and fans who really enjoy his music. Of course these are just some of the bigger things, but there are many more accomplishments he has made within himself that have changed him and made him a better man and performer. Keep your eyes open and look for more from Devin Claycomb in the near future. Image Hosted by ImageShack.us DEVIN CLAYCOMB: Born In Topeka, Kansas, the fourth son of a family of six. From Kansas he moved To The PA Mountains in June-1995 to help look after his father before he passed on. He decided to stay in PA when he met the neighbor girl, fell in love and married her in June of 2001. At 6'2 and 215 pounds he is a big guy and loves to hunt, fish and swap stories, ride horses, ride Harley's and just enjoy the simple way of life. He also enjoys good music whether it's country or rock, and new release night on DVD. He has served in the United States Armed Forces as a Military Police Officer from 1983 to 1989 and feels strong patriotism for his country. As a Painting and Home Improvements Contractor through the day he owns a small business in Bedford County, PA and has also expanded his company into the Lake Of The Ozarks area of Missouri. He is always looking for a laugh and a reason to carry on and always looks for the positive in everything. Devin believes that we all put our pants on the same way which in his eyes, makes us all equal. The only thing that separates us is our attitude and the way we choose to live. Jesus is the reason for the season
With 2 weeks before Christmas REMEMBER:
Jesus is Better than Santa
Santa lives at the North Pole.
JESUS is everywhere.
Santa rides in a sleigh
JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.
Santa comes but once a year
JESUS is an ever present help.
Santa fills your stockings with goodies
JESUS supplies all your needs.
Santa comes down your chimney uninvited
JESUS stands at your door and knocks.. and then enters your heart.
You have to stand in line to see Santa
JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.
Santa lets you sit on his lap
JESUS lets you rest in His arms.
Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl, What's your name?"
JESUS knew our name before we did. He knows our history and future
Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly
JESUS has a heart full of love.
All Santa can offer is HO HO HO
JESUS offers health, help and hope.
Santa says "You better not cry"
JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you.
Santa's little helpers make toys
JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes
Santa may make you chuckle but
JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.
While Santa puts gifts under your tree
JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.
We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.
We need to put Christ back in Christmas.
Jesus is still the reason for the season.
May the Lord Bless and Watch over you and your loved ones this Christmas 2008
And may He prosper and bless the work of your hands in the New Year.

Happy Holidays! Hope you’re enjoying the season so far. Seems it has been quite some time since I spent some time on Myspace. I have been busy altering my website at www.tonycowger.com to reflect my newest efforts in the freelance and ghost writing markets and focus less on my own novel. Anyway, I hope the rest of your year is wonderful and that the new year holds all the abundance you want. If you or someone you know is in need of some writing help please send them my way at www.tonycowger.com. (For any help I receive from my Myspace friends I am offering a 10% finders fee to say thank you for helping out a friend so be sure to write and let me know in case your friend forgets to tell me. If you hire me yourself, that 10% would be taken off what you pay so, either way, you win.) I have experience in writing sales ads/presentations, non-fiction and, of course, fiction. Thanks and happy holidays!
