ALABAMA BOOTS and country music, a perfect marriage to say the least.
Because of the choice of songs, the band’s sound closely resembles “Mellow Country” and “Tex Mex”. A mixture of atmospheric ballads and swinging up-tempo songs, performed with an infectious country beat.
The 5 members of the band are no strangers in the music business.
Years of experience in genres like Rockabilly, Country Blues, Rhythm & Blues and lots of others, created an incredibly tight country band, a band which is highly appreciated and keeps gaining name and fame. Promoters of country gigs as well as festivals have been acquainted with this band for some time.
It’s no use to refer to songs or former bands. An important fact to know is that the members of the band stayed loyal to their country roots and perform their country music with strong vocal acts, supported by their own musical enthusiasm, which is infectious.
ALABAMA BOOTS is a band that you just have to see on stage, so you can say … ‘YES!!’.
ALABAMA BOOTS en country music, een perfect huwelijk zou ik zeggen. Mede door de keuze van de nummers leunt de groep het dichtst aan bij de stijlen « Mellow Country » en « Tex Mex ». Een mix van sfeervolle ballads en swingende up-tempo nummers die op een aanstekelijke country beat
worden gebracht.
De vijf leden van de groep zijn dan ook niet aan hun proefstuk toe in het muziekwereldje. Jarenlange ervaring in stijlen zoals Rockabilly, Country Blues, Rythm & Blues, en andere, hebben ervoor gezorgd dat een stevige muzikale groep geboren werd, die door mensen met kennis van country music meer en meer wordt gewaardeerd en op het voorplan verschijnt. Zowel promotors van country happenings als van festivals kennen deze groep al langer.
Het is te gek om naar nummers te verwijzen of ex-bands op te noemen, daar hebt u geen boodschap aan. Wel belangrijk om te weten is, ze zijn gewoon zichzelf gebleven en brengen hun country music met zeer sterke vocale acts, ondersteund door een eigen muzikaal enthousiasme dat gewoonweg aanstekelijk werkt.
Met andere woorden, ALABAMA BOOTS moet je gewoon « live » zien en horen, zodat je nadien ook zeggen kan … ‘ YES !! ‘.
