We are a high energy 5 member band that plays primarily country music but with our rock roots our band is versatile enough to also play some good ol’ Southern Rock and amaze you with our 4 part harmony. Any good country band can take the stage and play some music but our band, THE MICHAEL PAUL BAND, likes to take the stage and entertain YOU and involve YOU in our show! We aren't just a cover band, in addition to singing songs by Hit Country Artists such as Brooks & Dunn, Toby Keith, Dierks Bentley, George Strait and many others, you will be delighted to hear us perform and sing to Michael Paul originals that every audience member can relate to in one way or another. We aim to have you up on your feet dancing and surprise you with our acapella songs too!
Some of our clients have included: 6 Flags Great America, Contra Costa County Fair, The Walnut Festival in Walnut Creek, Rio Vista Bass Festival, and many local clubs.
The MPB has played with or opened for bands well known in the Bay Area such as 38 Special, Tower Of Power, Elvin Bishop, Cold Blood, Van Morrison, and Steve Miller (to name a few). Happy Birthday Michael!! We had so much fun Saturday night. Mark got lost getting back to my mom and dad's house so it took 3 hours instead of 1 hour. AAAHHH!!! LOL!! The Wild Idol was PACKED!! Hey Guys!! You know what? We love you!! You would not believe how much snow we came home to last night. Long story, but we had to walk up the hill in it. (actually, short story-Mark forgot the chains-LOL) Anyway, we are really hoping we don't get the snow that is supposed to come. If so, we may be snowed in. I promise to stay in touch because of the plans for this weekend. Too much fun!! Yee Haw!! The kids had a lot of fun this weekend, and we had a blast. That place is wild. HOWDY!! Yep, it will be wild at the Wild Idol Saloon. Can't wait to see you guys!! Do we need our passes to get in? I think I owe Tammy an e-mail but with everything else going on around here I am behind on everything. I still haven't learned to line dance, so you will have to put up with me just dancing.
