About Me.........I was born in the delta of Mississippi. My mother says when I was born, I looked up at her as if to say, "Here I am world!" She said she knew right then that there was something special about me. I was on stage, for the first time, at the age of 4. I was in the play Peter Pan where I starred as Tinkerbell. I took to the stage like it was second nature and never looked back. I began competing in various talent competitions and beauty pageants at the age of 8. I made it all the way to the Miss Mississippi Pageant, where I made the top 10. I took voice lessons from Bob Westbrook of Memphis TN. He was also the voice teacher of Justin Timberlake of Nsync. I began singing with various bands in what most people call "honky tonks" when I was only 16, taking my mother along to chaperone. It was in those little bars that I decided that I wanted to sing country music. I was exposed to all genres of music and had various inspirations from them all. This is what gives me such a different country with blues sound, and I also have a 3-octave range.
