I was born in a small town in Virginia and have been listening to music and writing lyrics nearly all of my life. A few years ago I brought a guitar so that I could put the music I heard in my head to the lyrics. I am not a fabulous guitar player but I do well to get the lyrics out. I believe that everyone has a song within themselves, my songs have come from love and from pain. I have never really thought of myself as a singer/song writer, it was just something that I did naturally I would jot down some words and come back to them later and have a poem in the end and this would be stashed away in one of my notebooks for my eyes only. As a gimic in college I would ask for three words and create a song out of them, everyone around me seemed to be lost in what I was able to do. I thought that they were just being nice and maybe they were but, I seemed to enjoy the interest from others in my thoughts and the way I could express them. I want to share these pieces with the world so I have come to myspace for the world to hear my words. I have a few more songs that I have completed, completed meaning that I have written them and put my guitar to them. I have hundreds more that are just itching to be transformed into something that can be shared with the world. I am also working with an instructor to enhance my music knowledge so that I can bring more depth with other sounds and instruments. Recently I have been pushed to share my works and I have received a large amount of positive feedback by sharing a few of them. I am a bit shy about my music but I have come to realize that others may want to hear what I have to say, so here I am for all the world to hear. All of these songs were recorded in my home studio as demos with some equalization, but they are me in the raw, take a listen and let me know what you think.
