Many artists have inspired me in my life!
LeAnn Rimes most definitely is my all time favorite.
I love the new pop/country sound which is mostly what I sing...
My first influence ever was Loretta Lynn then The Judds. I remember their movies coming out! Coal Minor's Daughter and Love Can Build A Bridge...No telling how many times I've watched the two movies.
In today's music, of course we all know it's changed since I was 5 years old.
But I love it! I've recorded a few classics but, alot of modern.
Influences in today's country is just about all of them...Julie Roberts, Julie Reeves, Lila McCann, Sara Evans, Martina Mcbride, Rachel Proctor, Shania Twain, Cyndi Thompson, Trisha Yearwood, Garth Brooks, Bryan White and the list goes on...
Being told that I sound like a bunch of different artists... such as LeAnn Rimes, Sara Evans, Lila MCcann, Alison Krauss and Carrie Underwood. But I believe I sound like myself.
22 year old Theresa Faye was born and raised in Henderson Kentucky. Brought up by her mother as a middle child with two siblings. Discovering her talent by hearing a christmas song she had never heard before, taught to her in school. At the age of five, she began singing in Church, School Choir, Festivals, Restaurants and Bar & Grills. Also entering numerous contest, Placing first and second. Having the honor to Open Shows for Virgin Records recording artist Julie Reeves and Stealing Grace in 1999.
"I haven't grown up in a musical environment. Just born with this gift not inherited through family, God has put it in me to sing"! Even with hearing in only one Ear. Struggling with ear infections, having tubes taken in and out as a child. Then, later discovering a hearing loss caused by a Nerve Ending in the Left Ear. "I thank god eveyday for giving me such a gift with so much passion."
"Music Is My Life", "I live, sleep and breathe Country Music. I can't see myself doing anything else in life other than sing. I don't wanna live an everyday normal life...I want to travel, make music and sing, not to mention meet the fans. My number one dream whether I am an independant artist or professional recording artist...is to be on tour having my shows every night, but not end the show without pulling a fan from the audiance on stage to sing with me! That's definitely gonna be a Dream Come True! Fans are everything, they make all the hard work well paid off. No matter what the future holds for me, All I want to do is make good music and perform for the fans. If I can live my life doing what I love. And if only one heart was touched by my voice, I know that I have done my job."
