Inspiration WHO IS ALLISON JANISSE?
This small town Canadian gal is the next powerhouse of talent in Country Music.
Allison started showing her amazing talent as a very young girl and developed a love for music and performing. By the time she was 15 she decided she wanted to make a career in Music and is doing just that.
Already topping the Indie charts at #1 with her hit song "Give Me A Cowboy"in Europe as well as being placed on the ECMA charts from her first CD Come Dance With Me which was released in February, 2008. Then “Who Do You Think You Are” and “Journey” were added to her other originals and the Journey CD was released in May, 2008. All of her songs have been getting very strong airplay over in Europe and “Give Me a Cowboy” was released in the United States and made it to charts.
She is now back on the charts with her newest release "Everyday I'm Hanging On" coming in on the Independent music chart at #4 the week of Oct 17 to the 22nd Just one week after it was released for radio airplay
Not only has she proved she has the heart and the vocals to make it to the top of the charts, but this Canadian Gal is all about heart. She is donating funds from the sale of each CD to struggling Charitable organizations who are trying to raise funds. Allison is following her dream in Country music and is giving back with all her heart along the way.

Allison has reached #9 for the second consecutive week on the ECMA Charts with "Give Me a Cowboy"

After just over 2 weeks "Everyday I'm Hangin' On" has shot up to #3 on the Independent Music Network.
"Give Me a Cowboy" is now on the ECMA Charts and more stations are picking it up throughout the US.

Beginning of August
Allison is again in #1 spot on IMN. Has moved up to #19 on the STS Main Country Charts and is now appearing on the main charts in Japan in #8 spot.
Allison's numbers are also climbing drastically on the Clear Channel charts. More stations are picking her up throughout the States. She was also a feature artist for a week.

Week of June 16
Allison has made it to the main Country Music Charts for the STS (Spin Tracking System) to #48 with only 25 stations reporting in so far. Also landed in # 26 on the Indie Top 30. And on the Independent Music Network she is #3, keeping her in the top 10 since the end of March!!!

It is now the second week of June and Allison is still going strong on the Independent Music Network. She still remains in the Top 10. This is quite the accomplishment.
Also, Journey CD has now hit the airwaves in Europe and already there are some stations in the US that are picking up the new songs!! Very Exciting!!!

BIOGRAPHY
2008 has proven to be a very memorable year for this very talented recording artist. This is the year has marked the beginning of a very promising journey.
Allison Janisse is Canadian born and bred and has lived in many parts of Canada. Her love and passion for music started at a very young age and it has continued to grow with her. Smooth, fresh, toe-tapping, uplifting, and fun are all words which have been used to describe Allison's songs. Allison is a passionate singer/songwriter and performer, enchanting her audience with her unique blend of contemporary and country style using an animated, interactive delivery and soul-touching sound.
"Music to me is a huge part of my life. It is my way of expressing how I feel, happy or sad and everything in between. And it is something that has grown with me through life".
Her debut CD "Come Dance With Me", released at the beginning of 2008 was recorded, mixed and mastered within a short 6 months. The CD has been evaluated by many professionals in the industry. The CD as a whole was said to be a fantastic concert. So, it was decided to send the complete CD to Europe through Comstock Records International Promotions. Basically, the CD got off the plane and exploded on the European market, from Norway to Australia and New Zealand. All 11 songs have been getting strong airplay.
"I had the opportunity to work with an amazing producer, arranger and engineer who became a really good friend of mine...Gerry Dere. We had a great time working on all of my CD's."
During March and April, 2008, Allison was back in the studio with Gerry to record 2 new original songs. These were compiled onto a second CD with the originals from her first one to make an all original CD called "Journey". "I can't tell you how much fun it was recording "Who Do you Think You Are". This song has a ton of attitude and was a lot of fun recording it. I had a hard time trying not to laugh!!!"
Journey is a song that holds a big piece of my heart. It is a song that I had been trying to write for a very long time. Then my sister, Jennifer came and said "I wrote a poem for you, maybe it is something you can use". Well wouldn't you know it is exactly what I wanted to say."
These two songs were released on the European market in May, 2008. And have been very well received!
Allison's dream has always been to help those that need the help the most. When approached with the song "Everyday I'm Hangin' On" she new this was her way to help by donating funds to various charitable organizations.
Allison loves performing and feeds off of the energy from the audience, sharing her passion for music. Plan on seeing a lot from this artist in the future. She is going to be around for a long time.
