I was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. I now live in a small town in Texas. I had to take a retirement this past year and I miss working. I worked for the VA Hospital for 22 years, in San Antonio,Texas.
interests
General
I am an avid sports fan, I love basketball (Spurs), college football (Alabama), pro football (Miami and Green Bay). I like boxing and I like wrestling too (okay, that's not really a sport but I like it anyway.
Activities
I can't do much anymore but I used to love to hike and go rock climbing. I love to travel and I also like to do neddle point. I am very involved in politica right now (I am the democratic Secretary for the county that I live in and I am a delegate to the convention also).
Music
I like any and all kinds of music, from country to gospel to rock and jazz and R & B!
Movies
Right now I am on a Harry Potter kick (mostly because of Alan Rickman) and have been rewatching the movies. My all time favorite is Gone With The Wind. I like old movies (like Harvey) but I also like new movies too (Game Plan). I don't care too much for horror movies but I can watch 9as long as you don't mind me hiding my face)
TV
I love Law & Order (all of them). I love CSI: Vegas too. I haven't watched too much TV in months but I like my day time soaps too (OLTL and GH). I like to watch RAW and SD and any basketball game.
Books
I love too read. My favorites are by Tom Clancy, James Patterson, Linda Leal Miller, John Grisham, too name a few. I have just finished BOOM by Tom Brokaw and it was awesome. One of the best books I have read in years.
