Inspiration I've done a solo act for over 25 years, infrequently putting together a trio or duo act. I pretty much knew, from 8 years old,starting to learn the guitar, that I was going to be a professional musician. I know,"that sounds like BS", but I spent many hours as a kid, hidden away from the craziness that was my family, and lost deep inside the happy place that was "my music". "MY MUSIC" grew up right along with me, just as if it were another person, or half of me.

First pro gig was in Boulder,Co in the late 70's. Since then, it's been a long road of cafes, restaurants, bars, coffeehouses, just anywhere to set up and play for people. 1989 was the year I was hired to portray a country singer at a giant gala in Hong Kong.
Married with kids, took priority over my "music Jones", so music was always the "redheaded stepchild", last for consideration. My life is quite different now. Gone are the kids, and soon to be gone is the wife. Here I am, 50 something,redefining myself and my life, about to embark on a long awaited journey into musical bliss..grin..All I can say is, I'm glad I lived long enough to see this.
