Brittini was born with music in her soul and started singing herself to sleep at age two. By the time she was eight years old, Brittini was singing harmonies, and by age 12, as a member of mother-daughter duo Sandra Lee & Brittini, a plan had been mapped out to pursue a career in music.
Brittini attended Nashville’s esteemed Belmont University, where she performed in numerous showcases and was then chosen to perform in Belmont’s most prestigious showcase, “The Best of the Best” with alum Brad Paisley, held at the famous Ryman Auditorium.
A seasoned entertainer, Brittini has opened for superstar country acts - Lonestar, Sammy Kershaw, Billy Ray Cyrus, Kenny Rogers and Diamond Rio at the Grand Old Opry. She can be seen regularly at Nashville’s most popular venues including the Bluebird Cafe, Douglas Corner, Fuel, and Cadillac Ranch. Brittini has written with some of country music’s top-notch songwriters - Tammy Hyler, Steve Diamond, Tom Douglas, Rick Giles, Phil Barnhart, Victoria Shaw, and Paul Overstreet – and her voice can be heard on publishing demos circulating Music Row.
Known for her soulful vocals with an R&B flare, Brittini hopes to add a new element to country music. Authentic and spiritual, Brittini Black is blessed with the all the essentials of a true artist that was born with “that special thing”…. One listen is all it takes.
