Chad Van Rys made the TOP 40 in the new
NASHVILLE STAR on the NBC broadcast on
Monday, June 9, 2008.
The first show was rebroadcast on Saturday,
June 14, 2008 at 4:00PM EST on CMT.
There was a short clip of Chad Van Rys singing,
"And They All Came Home But Me(Once A Marine)",
when Billy Ray Cyrus introduces the military performers near the shows beginning.

The song was so close to the heart of U.S. Marine Corps Combat Veteran, Chad Van Rys, he rearranged the song, added new music while on his third tour in Iraq, and made the song his own.
Chad Van Rys has also written songs with the team.
The team's latested release is, "Blue Collar Fighting Man", and it pays tribute to our military heroes.
The three songwriters of "Blue Collar Fighting Man", are Chad Van Rys, a U.S. Marine Corps Combat Veteran with three tours in Iraq, Charlie Boland, father of a U.S. Army, M1 Tank Crew member, and Kirk Wesley Boland, a former U.S. Army helicopter pilot.
Charlie Boland produced "Blue Collar Fighting Man", at Bayou Recording Inc., in Nashville, TN.
Chad and Kirk met while in Iraq, back in 2006.
The 2007 release of "And They All Came Home But Me (Once A Marine)", continues to move forward.
After Chad Van Rys recorded his rewrite of the song, now written by Chad van Rys, Kirk Wesley Boland,Jr., Kirk Wesley Boland, former U.S. Army pilot and Tyson McKinster, a U.S. Marine Corps Combat Veteran, the song was picked up by,
"TO THE FALLEN RECORDS".
The song is for sale on the "Country Vol. I" CD
released by "TO THE FALLEN RECORDS".
