About Me

Billy Reasons is an artist/songwriter currently living just south of the friendliest city in the world, Nashville Tennessee. He is currently in the final stages of his first Solo CD. Billy was raised on the finest traditional country music, being influenced by legends such as Hank Sr., Merle Haggard, Ronnie Millsap, Keith Whitley, George Jones to name a few, along with some Rock & Roll heros like Elvis, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Billy has played and sung every music genre from Rock & Roll to heart changing Gospel music and has returned to his roots in country music. His country songs have a deep tradition style, sometimes with Rock & Roll flair. He has received awards for his musical performance and songwriting in multiple genres of music, but is most proud of his current works on his latest CD project. Billy has fought to come back and succeed in what he refers to as “What I was born to do”. After an accident in 2002, Billy was told there was little hope of ever playing his guitar again. Nine surgeries were necessary to save his right hand. With a lot of prayer and determination to adapt and overcome, he is back doing what he loves most and is thankful for that second chance. Billy is writing and performing again with a lot of passion the best work that has ever spilled from his pen and raked across his strings.

I wish I had my front teeth capped in gold before the recession hit; I'd sing my heart out and grin from ear to ear. (It wouldn't take much of a visionary to see the value there.) Whew, tough times for a wintering Tenn artist. You see where I'm going with this - your songs are honest country and I've always thought if enough people hear them they will love 'em.
