About Me

Beland and Patton are pioneers of country rock and Texas Blues, From the legendary Flying Burrito Brothers to such stellar acts as Carl Perkins, Ricky Nelson, Linda Ronstadt, Hank Williams Jr. Willie Nelson, Johnny Bush, Bobby Bare and many others. John Beland and Larry Patton have worked with an astounding roster of legendary country and rock giants for well over three decades. Their songs have been recorded by a "who's who" of top artists, and their playing and singing has graced the recordings and performances of some of the most important country, rockabilly, pop, folk and blues acts in music history. Beland and Patton toured with the Flying Burrito Brothers around the world to countless die hard country rock fans worldwide. It was on these final Burrito sessions that Larry sang duets with Merle Haggard, Delbert McClinton, Charlie Louvin, The Oak Ridge Boys and Waylon Jennings. Joining John, Larry and the FBB on these last albums were Ricky Skaggs, Alison Krauss, The Oak Ridge Boys, Sonny Landreth, Buck Owens, Sam Bush, Delbert McClinton and many other major names in contemporary country rock, a true testiment to the Flying Burrito Brothers legacy. John and Larry are currently working on a new project at John's studio in Brenham, Texas. They will be touring this year with Will Roberts (Vocals/drums)and Jamey Whiting (Vocals/Keyboards). The tour dates include places like Norway, Canada, Florida, Texas, Tennessee and more.... Dates and Venues will be posted soon. "Ain't It Beautiful" hits the country radio airwaves February 20 th. Wish me luck. Hopefully you will call your local country radio station and request they play it.
