About Me
An Exercise In Free Will has its roots in Praise Band music although influenced by many different styles. “A Soldier’s Prayer”, the first single to be released by An Exercise In Free Will, was inspired by the tragic events of 9/11 along with the capture and subsequent disappearance of Staff Sgt. Matt Maupin in Iraq. With the images of 9/11 still in his mind, the sadness and frustration shows through in these lyrics... Everywhere I look I see injustice Everywhere I go I see people cry What would make the world so mistrust us To see our plight and turn a blind eye The band is currently in the studio working on their self-titled CD, An Exercise In Free Will.
