An unforgettable voice and a dynamic songwriter - Ben LaCour and Mike Townsend - from Baton Rouge are an impressive duo.
Ben LaCour has a star quality voice and has been developing it his whole life. He has tremendous talent, but is still humble and hard working.
Mike Townsend sings but is primarily a songwriter. Writing the songs and then harmonizing with Ben has been a special privilege for him.
Their style has been described as "blues infused country." Drawing from the variety of cultures in south Louisiana, each song has its own "flavor."
