Somewhere between coal mines and steel mills,
mountain streams and majestic rivers, where blue collar meets corporate America, The New Relics have absorbed life around them and set it to music. Having been described as a band that “writes the perfect driving music” The New Relics blend great rock, alt-country and americana into a sound that just about anyone can relate to. With comparisons having been drawn between The New Relics and the likes of Pat Green, Rascal Flatts, Matchbox Twenty, and Train, the band delivers a fresh radio friendly sound with great lyrics, storytelling and hooks that will have fans singing along.
The New Relics have taken the last few years and toured almost non-stop building up a following of fans and friends all over the east coast. Having headlined many of their shows, The New Relics are finding a national audience. They deem their fans as friends and take every effort to get to know as many people that enjoy there music.
Currently supporting their CD “Chasing Venus”, the band is gaining attention nationwide. Radio markets across the country have embraced the song as a sure hit along with a breath of fresh air. “One of the best bands I have heard in 5 years” says Lacy Neff at 50K watt WVAQ. “I loved it on the first listen” said Tim Phillips at KLAN. Clear Channel Radio has the pegged the band as one of the Top 100 new artists.
