Greetings Friends!

Suburban Roots Concert Series' mission is to hold unique and intimate concerts in the New Jersey area, with a focus on national and local, up and coming artists in the Americana, Roots, Folk and country genres!

We aim to bring in great talent that normally would not make Jersey a stop in their tour plans. Mostly because they think there is no market, or because other outlets aren't willing to take a chance on them. I am hopeful that together we can change that!

These events take place at different local venues ranging from house concerts and coffeehouses to pubs, clubs and larger venues.

No doubt there are many Jersey folks starving for this music in our neck of the woods. So please spread the word, and get folks added into our friends here so we can keep the music going!

Past performers have included rising star Chris Knight, Kentucky-native singer/songwriter, Justin Townes Earle, son of legend Steve Earle, an amazing, young singer/songwriter.

Past and future events include The Annual Jersey Country Revival, Johnny Cash Remembered, Johnny Cash Birthday Tribute, Country & Coffee Sessions, Indigo Reunion and more!

Future performances to include Justin Townes Earle, Hayes Carll, Bill Kirchen, Junior Brown and many others!

Hopefully we will soon get to share an evening of excellent live music together!

Don't miss the celebration of Michael Patrick's CD release coming up January 29th, 30th and 31st!

Thanks for becoming a neighbor. How cool your "mission" to bring music to your part of the states. Please check out VAN PRESTON.
van is awesome, and has recently opened 2 shows for Chesney, and an upcoming show for Martina McBride. Check out Van at www.Myspace.com/VanPreston. Van often plays in Austin, TX. (but lives in Nashville). If you like Van, and are interested, drop me a line.
