biography
“Nina, where do you get all of your energy?” I just tell’em, “I love music, and when I hear it, I can’t help myself. It is not an act, it is just how the music makes me feel…When the music stops, I’m old and tired just like the rest of you.” J
Born and raised in small town West Virginia, Nina and her band have wowed and entertained groups of all ages. Nina’s passion and love for music has led her to open for numerous Nashville Acts such as: Josh Turner, Chris Cagle, Blackhawk, Trent Tomlinson, Kellie Pickler, Darryl Worley, Joe Nichols, Lonestar, and Cletus T. Judd, just to name a few. Nina has played many venues across the Eastern part of the United States and continues to leave her fans wanting more.
“I never in a million years would have thought I would have given myself enough credit to call myself a “songwriter.” But I am now proud to say that I am. For someone who doesn’t shut up…I sure had a lot of things left unsaid to write about. It is all real one way or another, by life’s experiences or observations of some other sap’s dramatic life.”
Nina has been busy this last year with her own music. She is in the process of completing her second album with all of her own written material. It is due to be released at this year’s 2008 fairs and festival season.
If I’m havin’ fun, I just feel like everyone around me will feel that energy and have fun as well. And if there is music playin’, I’m havin’ fun.”
