about me
I'm married and we have one dog and two cats. I have been the music director at KLMJ-FM in Hampton Iowa since 1988. It has been great to get to know the various country stars that we spin each day as well as all the friends we have made in the industry. Besides the major artists, it is great to meet and get to know the new faces in country music. There is some really great music out there.
interests
General
I enjoy spending time with my wife Janet, our family and friends, music, movies, classic TV, taking pictures, walking, paying attention to our dog Boots, cats Tinkerbell and Toby as well as keeping in touch with everyone through email.
Music
Music has always been a part of my life. We have a great collection of cassettes and CD's plus some concert DVD's of various artists and groups. I'm also a collector of autographed pictures of the artists that I've met or interviewed. I enjoy different types of music but you can't beat that good ole country music.
Movies
We enjoy all kinds of movies and there are so many favorites that the list would be too long. In our house, we have a great selection of movies on DVD. With our schedules, sometimes it's easier to wait until they come out on DVD and plan a movie night at home.
TV
It's always great to relax after a long day and watch TV. We enjoy comedy shows the best and are a big fan of "The Biggest Loser". We also have a big collection of classic TV shows on DVD. It's always great to see those shows from the past. They just don't make them like that anymore.
Books
Right now we are reading "Are You Ready" from Bob Harper of "The Biggest Loser". Check it out!
