Inspiration Michael Kosterman is from Langley British Columbia Canada. His unique country rock sound evolved from the influences of some of the greatest artists of all time; The Eagles, Garth Brooks, Bryan Adams, Elvis Presley and others. His voice is gritty and full of heartfelt soul. The songs he sings he wrote himself and they echo with emotion and feeling. He played in bands for several years in the lower mainland of BC and then in 2005 Michael decided to pursue a solo career.
For two years Michael marketed his songs on the internet, and began to build a following. In 2007 he created a Myspace page and finally had access to music listeners all over the world. It wasn't long before the listeners reacted. Now Michael is consistently in the top artist charts. His first single release to commercial radio will be on October 1st 2008. The song is titled My Heart is a Song and will be released through Mark Trail Music in Nashville Tennessee.
Just one listen to Michael's music and you will know that this is a singer songwriter that belongs in the world music community. He now has a large and loyal fan base. His music is already airing on several radio stations around the world. Many believe that it is only a matter of time before Michael takes his place as one of the worlds most well known singer songwriters.
