Longneck Road was formed in Beaumont, Texas, in early 2008, and performs primarily original songs written by lead vocalist and guitar player Dick LeMasters. The band has played in and around Beaumont, Texas. Currently, Longneck Road is focusing on performing at fairs, festivals, events, and as the opening act for regional and national touring artists.
On October 1, 2009, we released our first album, "Texas Rock," which is currently available for preview and purchase at CD Baby.com or through our website, www.longneckroad.com. Recent shows include performances at the 2009 South Texas State Fair and on the main stage at the Ford Park Pavilion for the 2009 Boys Haven Food and Music Festival.
Longneck Road's biggest show to date is coming up on Thursday, November 5, 2009, when we open for The Charlies Daniels Band at a private event located near Winnie, Texas!
Following that, Longneck Road hosts a CD Release Party on Friday, November 27, 2009, at The Pacesetter Lounge in Beaumont, Texas. Check the Longneck Road website for additional information and details!
