biography
At 20, Cora Keller is a seasoned country singer and songwriter. She has opened for acts such as Craig Morgan, Jason Aldean, Blue County and Trisha Yearwood. She won the Colgate Country Showdown and went on to win the State of Ohio, besting hundreds of entrants. She made the national finals of the Next American Superstar. In August, she wowed the 800-member audience of American truck drivers at Gilleys in Dallas/ Ft. Worth. She's played: The Bluebird, Douglas Corner Café, Third and Linsley, among others in Nashville. She also plays festivals, country, and state fairs. Cora is not new to performing. She began modeling and acting as a child and continues to model. She hosted, entertained and toured with the Miss Junior America Pageant System in major cities across America. After a successful actors showcase in New York, she was invited to study and audition for pilots in Los Angeles. Faced with a difficult decision, she turned the opportunity down, headed for Nashville confident in her choice to focus on her music; she followed her heart. Once in Nashville, Cora began working with Denise Stevens, Loeb&Loeb, LLP, Phil Billy ODonnell, producer and songwriter, and Larry Sheridan, publisher. She is ontinues to study with Renee Grant-Williams, noted voice coach. She is busy writing, singing, and chasing her dream. Born in Ohio, raised in Kentucky and Ohio, Cora resides in Nashville, Tennessee.
