biography
Caitlin Nicole Eadie is a hard-working country music singer/songwriter. Caitlin performs about 60 shows per year in all kinds of venues including fairs, festivals, community events, and private party's.
Hailing from North Florida and singing her way to Nashville at every opportunity, Caitlin Nicole Eadie shows that true talent comes in all sizes and shapes and in her case, ages. Caitlin has learned how to sing when microphone cords fall out, speakers don't work, and with laryngitis. She's performed for crowds ranging from 5000 to 5 people and performed on stages, flat bed trailers, and on the plain old ground. Second only to performing on stage is Caitlin's love for songwriting. Her favorite writing experience was writing her song "Country Girl" with her co-writers in an equipment shed at the Florida State Fair.
Caitlin's unique alto voice and pure southerness gives the listener a glimpse of a star in the making who's old soul just happens to be trapped in a teenage body.
Caitlin has opened for acts such as Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Heartland, James Otto, Janie Fricke, Lynard Skynard, John Anderson and Tanya Tucker.
She is a three time Florida State Finalist in the Colgate Country Showdown. She placed 3rd in her category in the 2007 CMA Rising Star Contest. While in Nashville for the 2007 and 2008 CMA Fest, she performed at Layla's Bluegrass Inn and the French Quarter Cafe. Caitlin was named Female Vocalist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and Most Promising Female Entertainer of the Year at the Orange Blossom Country Music Association’s State Finals in 2007 and 2008. Caitlin has also been a finalist in the Loretta Lynn Talent Contest.
Caitlin was a finalist in the 2007 International Songwriting Competition and the 2007 Songwriter Universe Contest. She also received an honorable mention in the VH1 Song of the Year contest.
Caitlin has 20 original songs to her credit, 4 of which have just been released on her debut CD "Country Girl".
Caitlin is inspired by music of all kinds and the artists that perform it.
